For Tuesday, March 3

1. Read Ursula LeGuin "Buffalo Gals". See Compass to post your response.
2. Bring ideas in the form of visual materials for your "dream sequence" video to discuss (as individuals or small groups). Visual materials can mean: footage that you've captured with a camera; found video material; references from various cultural sources (cinema, literature, design, mythologies, music, etc). Basically, have something that can help explains and illustrate what your video will be (conceptually and/or visually).

For Tuesday, February 17

Some things due next week:
1) Responses to the writings by Wenders and Passolini (your responses can be completed on Compass) 2) You individual or team produced long take video (uploaded to your Vimeo/Youtube playlist and linked on Compass)
Also of interest: Next week, Allen Hall's Artist in Residence is Steve Lambert, who makes some provocative and inspired work. There is an event in Allen Hall almost every night next week (I think most start at 7pm).
