We will be critiquing the soundscape projects on Monday - please review the project parameters before completing. Bring your final soundscape as an exported wav file (48kHz, 16bit - the same as you should have recorded).
*Important note about microphones:
If you are using the microphones we looked at in class, the omnidirectional mic is powered by the recorder, but you will need to use the H4 Zoom, not the H2. See this manual for turning phantom power on for the H4.
If you are using the shotgun mic, it takes a single AA battery, and can be used with the H2. You can request batteries when you check out the equipment.
Also take a look at the reading on acoustic ecology by Eric Leonardson, as we will refer to some of these ideas when reviewing the work.
